Trout River Falls is a beautiful trout fishing country lodge situated on the historical farm named Klipsteen, set amongst the valleys of the misty Steenkampsberg Mountains in Mpumalanga.

The lodge was established in 2003 and has been awarded four stars by the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa. The scenic property is surrounded by lush forests, cascading waterfalls and rolling mountains. There is an abundance of birdlife, indigenous forests and wild flowers that will leave you feeling totally relaxed in the tranquility of nature.

Trout River falls is a well-established country lodge providing luxury self-catering accommodation, excellent service, and perfect fly fishing conditions for our guests. Our charming lodge is the perfect spot for a relaxing weekend getaway or an ideal stopover when travelling to the Kruger National park and other low-veld destinations.

𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬: 2 nights for 2 people in a self-catering unit, A welcome pack of wood (anything thereafter is R50.00 per bag), all linen, use of cutlery and crockery, units will be serviced and cleaned during your stay, A tea & coffee station which will be topped up during your stay.
Fishing is complementary during your stay with us, but you will need to bring your own equipment. Beautiful walking on the property along the river and access to the waterfall.
